Front closure bras hook in the front of the body, between the breasts making them extremely easy to get on and off. Many women find back close bras difficult to put on for a myriad of reasons from lack of flexibility, or for medical reasons such as arthritis or post-surgical restrictions, and for these women a front close bra may be the perfect solution. They can be more difficult to properly fit, however, because of the lack of adjustable bands.
Front closure bras can be designed to use hooks and eyes like traditional back closure bras, or can come with specialty clasps that interlock. They also come in a wide range of styles from racer back and bandeau bras to embroidered or seamless. Front closure bras are typically soft cup but there are underwire front closure bras also available that are more appropriate for larger breasted women.
